Finding out who is interested… Before getting started it’s important to gauge how many people are interested in participating. The first couple of sessions are always going to be hard in getting players, but once you run it for a while the word of mouth from players will help increase uptake. Try to estimate the demand and think about offering a discount for signing up early. Make a social media group and ask around to see who might be interested. From this you can figure out what days and time most people want to play and estimate how much they are willing to pay.

Find a Venue Call around local high schools, colleges, social clubs and council parks. Find the best one for your budget and make a deal on the time and day you want. When searching for a venue make sure the pitch has ambulance access!

Ask for Feedback. Congratulations, you’ve set up a team! Now it’s time for the fun part. It’s important to check in with people to see how they’re finding it and if anything needs improving. If you can action the feedback straight away then do so! If not, make sure you keep a record of the feedback and action it at your Annual General Meeting.
